Bornhoeved near Hamburg, Germany: the ideal corporate headquarters

The Headquarters of the BODO Group is located at Bornhoeved in the Federal German State of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Germany is the „turntable” of Europe as well as being the mediator between East and West. Bornhoeved is in the immediate hinterland of Hamburg and provides the BODO Trading Organization and its business partners with an ideal location. Trading- relationships and connections throughout Europe are built up here and intensified, primarily to Easter Europe and the new European Union member states. In order to be able to address the requirements of our Eastern European customers, the BODO Group has also set up a Branch in Poznan, Poland.

Bornhoeved is located in the immediate vicinity of the ports of Hamburg, Kiel and Lubeck as well as the North Sea-Baltic Canal. The intended extension of the Port of Hamburg will make Hamburg into the largest European seaport and it has also already taken over the function of a „Port of Entry” among the northern range of seaports. In addition, Hamburg is Europes largest railway hub for rail container traffic.

Our customers benefit from this ideal location – not least because of Germanys superb infrastructure and the transportation advantages of its geographic position. All the three cities of Hamburg, Kiel and Lubeck as well as our Polish location in Poznan have airports. If required, we will meet, fetch and bring our customers from and to the airport.
